Ensure Our Community's Future

Growing up in Philadelphia, Robin’s family was deeply engaged with the local Federation, instilling in her a lifelong commitment to volunteering and supporting those in need — a core value passed down from her grandparents.
After moving to New York City, Robin witnessed UJA’s profound impact, particularly during crises like Super Storm Sandy. “I saw how UJA supported those in need, highlighting the importance of showing up,” she reflects. Her commitment grew as she served on boards and chaired events. Since October 7, Robin has traveled to Israel three times with her mother, husband, and children and has witnessed firsthand the impact UJA has had there. UJA was able to act on October 7 because it had the infrastructure in place on October 6.
Today, Robin continues the family tradition of supporting UJA-Federation through her children, Teddy and Caroline, who have participated in UJA activities from a young age. “Teddy learned the power of philanthropy early on, and Caroline’s wish to visit an orphanage at just five was inspiring,” she shares.
As she looks to the future, Robin’s actions today ensure the vital work of UJA well into the future. “Now more than ever, UJA’s campaign rings true: Every Generation Is Called to Act, Our Time Is Now.” By including UJA in her estate plan and endowing her Lion of Judah gift, Robin not only ensures the longevity of UJA’s work but also continues to honor her family’s legacy of giving dor l’dor — from generation to generation.
