Ensure Our Community's Future
Through various types of bequests to UJA-Federation, a donor may secure a charitable estate-tax deduction for the value of the gift. Best of all, a donor will know that his or her generosity will support our mission for years to come.
A donor may prefer to state in a will or trust a sum of money or a percentage of the estate that the donor wishes to give to UJA-Federation.
Whatever form of bequest you choose, it is not subject to federal estate taxes and so may reduce the tax burden of an estate. The value of the bequest may be deducted when the taxable estate is determined, and there is no limit to the deduction. Please contact us for more information on gifts that pay income!
